The Cool Water Ranch has played a prominent part in the history of this area since 1776. The Union Pacific brought its tracks to meet the Santa Fe’s at the corner of The Cool Water Ranch. Route 66 follows the tracks westward to Los Angeles. Interstate Highway 15 is only three miles north of the ranch, and I-40 is just two miles south, so there are ample means to connect the area with surrounding communities, yet the area still retains the solitude and rugged simplicity of the Old West. The Cool Water Ranch provides a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern city living. The ranch provides a brilliant view of the Calico Mountains and is six miles from Barstow. 

The Cool Water Ranch is a short two hour drive from both Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
